It isn't clear what you mean by "pc hangup, restart and logoff". Do you mean that when the pc hangs up, you get some message about restarting and logging off? Do mean that when it hangs up, that you, yourself, restart it and logoff?

I hope "kaushik" is one of your trusted accounts.

yes 'kaushik' is trusted user , when he is using desxtop
1 : Some times pc is automatically hungs.
2 : Some times it is automatically restart.
3 : Some times some problem shown in start some apllicaion.
4 : Some time automaticlly logoff.

For trace these problems i check root mails , one of the mail i already mention in before detail.
We have FC4 system.Configuration is highter i.e. 512Mb etc...., i.e There isnot prolbme with pc configuration because these type of problem shown from three days..

I've never used LogWatch, so I can't diagnose your log. I suppose the two major possibilities are either hardware problem or a problem with Samba, if the user depends heavily on files that reside on another computer. I suggest running memtest86+ on the machine. If it passes, see if it still locks up when Samba is not used. You didn't say how long the machine had run with FC4 before the problems started. Were there any recent software updates before the problems began?

Thank you for help.

It may be now there will no problem in pc. I had done two things in that pc 1 : upgard RAM and 2:Pc is update FC2 to FC4.

I Donot think that there would problme because of only update FC2 to FC4.
I try Wine for use some window base sw., It is also one of the reason. But my mistake is i m not master of Linux and I have not much infomation about wine.

But i replace hardDrive with another , and getting same problem so i remore RAM modual which i attach some day before. Now Pc is on testing .It is working with both drive fine.

Have a nice time.
