installation difficulty fc4

i got two dvds fc4 i386 . both of them have problems. some package or other gives read error and abort installation.some how i have managed to install default personal desktop and with help of add remove pkg i am now able to use the installation.if i install kde the greeting screen fails repeatedly.reinstalled with gnome only now

how can i install kde and gnome dsktops both reliably

anybody kindly give me an idea how to access other partitions of the hrd drives.?

Try running the graphical installer to pull the kde packages off your dvd.

/usr/sbin/system-config-packages
