FC4 install problems SATA ASUS SIS controller

SYS config:AMD athlon XP2800+,ASUS K8MSX motherboard, Seagate 80gb SATA.
I downloaded x86_64bit....iso disc 1. I tested for SHA1SUM. Its OK.
FC4 does not detect my sata hard disk drive(In normal installation it gets stucked up). When I use text mode installation it tells no harddrives were found do you want to proceed or select a device.

<DONE> <ADD DEVICE>
In add device I found sis_sata drive for my system. I selected and it continued to run ANACONDA. I even chose installation type and language. At last an error gets displayed stating no storage devices were found please check for your hardware for cause of your problem.
Then I click OK and system reboots. I am a new-bie to linux. Please help.

You might try the 32bit version to see if that helps. I'm using SATA with an AMD/ASUS nvidia3/silicon image based SATA and it's working well so far. At one point in FC3, the kernel did not support SATA and I was having similar problems, but that seems to have been fixed.
Here's my module list showing at least a few of the dependencies in case it helps.
sata_nv 9413 0 <--- nvidia driver
sata_sil 9029 2 <--- silicon image driver
libata 47045 2 sata_nv,sata_sil <-- lib ata uses the drivers
sd_mod 20545 4 <--- sd_mod is required
scsi_mod 148105 2 libata,sd_mod <--- the venerable scsi_mod is also required and uses both sd_mod and libata
