some Gnome and KDE questions

1. Is it possible to have unique wallpapers for each virtual desktop in Gnome like you can with KDE? 3ddesktop just doesn't look as cool with the same wallpaper on every desktop.

2. Does anyone know how Fedora has configured KDE so that you have the reboot and shutdown options when you look at the logout screen? [like how it is with Gnome.] Trying to get the same effect on my other systems and I can't find the correct configuration anywhere.

For Question 2:

Edit /etc/sysconfig/desktop to read:

Code:

DESKTOP="KDE"
DISPLAYMANAGER="KDE"

Edit /etc/X11/xdm/kdmrc:

Code:

UseBackground=true
UseTheme=false

That's how I got mine up.

Thanks but I should have made clear that I am using gdm I don't happen to have those files on the particular system I'm trying to get to behave.
