BIOS and vid card firmware updating

So dell has releases an updated bios for my machine (latitude D610) which includes videocard updates.

is there anything i should be carefull of while upbrading, or is it all fairly transparent to the os?

It depends on the method of updating. If it requires a Windows utility then for obvious reasons you can't. The boot disk method should be okay. I updated my BIOS with FC3 using a boot disk.

yeah, i dual boot, so im finw with the acctual install part. i went ahead and did the upgrade and it all seems to be working fine so far
