Does anybody have any info concerning gcc 4.0.1 in fc4?

It would be great to see gcc 4.0.1 in the updates. 4.0.0 is miscompiling many things, and 3.2.3 is a bit too obsolete. My problem is connected with xmame. Any info would be appreciated.

It's in rawhide and I think in updates-testing.
