Q: Reinstall GRUB

I have to format my NTFS and reinstall Windows. How can I reinstall GRUB after Windows installation or something like that?(Basically, how can I access my Linux after reinstalling Windows)

Might try booting CD disk one or the DVD and use F5 to go to recovery shell and type at

boot: linux rescue

then at

# chroot /mnt/sysimage

than at

#grub-install

That should rewrite your MBR and allow GRUB to roll! There may be an easier way but I am < 6 mo into this Linux thing, still in R&D mode.

Also, I have found more useful stuff with the search feature here on the forum than even the heavy $45 "Fedora Core Bible". I'll bet the other ways of accomplishing your task if that does not work are right here on the forum, already well described. Good hunting!
