audio/video
Hi all
I dont know why but i am messing with this issue some days now.
First i had sound but no video in movies.
Now i have video but my sound is gone again.
Somehow i am not able to get audio and video at once.
I am using several players, Mplayer (who just freezes) Tomem, Xine, Kaffeine
and in all i have the same problem.
I am using FC core 4.
Thanks in advange. Robbie

Can you be more specific, which files, wmv, avi, mpg, ... If you open them from a command line, are there any errors?

I am using mpg and avi files. Most are downloaded movies.
I use the gui and not the command line.
in Kaffeine i dont get errors but just a black screen with sound.
Mplayer: doesnt load
Totem: i dont get errors but just a black screen with sound.
Thanks

I know, but apps ussually print error messages to the command line, so if you use mplayer, then type: gmplayer filename
You still get the gui, but it is started from the commandline so error messages can be printed. (same goes for xine and the others)
