VPN connects then terminates with fc3

Hello,
I installed pptp from sourceforge.net and followed the instructions. I am running fc3 on a toshiba laptop and am trying to connect to my offiice through a vpn. I can connect from my home computer running winxp with no problems so I have pretty much eliminated the router/modem/internet connection.

Here is what happens: I get the pptp config window up and enter all of my data, i.e. host ip, user name, password, domain etc. I have checked require encryption, just like my winxp setup. I hit connect and it goes through the deal saying starting 128bit stateless encryption and then says it's connected. I can ping all my computers at work, however if I try to run terminal server to bring up my remote desktop it disconnects. It also does this if I enter the ip of one of my printers to bring up it's gui. It starts to come up and then hangs. I know it's connected initially because it starts to bring up the printer gui.
