No hits on this in the other area, so........

ATI doesn't have good 64bit support yet. If it were an nVidia card, I'd recommend hopping over to the nVidia forum. There's lots of folks there constantly discussing and hacking the drivers and AGP code and what-not. Unfortunately, that won't help you. Sorry. You might check around to see if there is an ATI linux forum. That would probably be better than asking here.
