Question Flaky screen resolution setup

Hi,

So I install Fedora Core 4 in my Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop, no issues.

Screen resolution was set to 800x600, with only 1 lesser resolution in
the drop-down box. I've a ATI 64meg card but I would like to change
that to 1024x768, as is in my windows.

My video-card is actually ATI Mobility Radeon 9000, but the one
detected by Fedora/Anaconda is ATI Radeon M9.

Are they the same ?

I change the resolution, thro' Desktop -> Preferences -> Screen Resolution,
the screen screws up.

The screen is split, tool-bars are all over the place and I don't know as
how to get it right or even get it back.

The settings are fine only for 800x600.

How do I fix the screen resolution to look good for higher resolution ?

Thanks,
Kramer.
