ASUS A8V DELUXE Socket 939 VIA K8T800 Pro ATX AMD Motherboard

I'm interested in purchasing this board and noticed a couple of people in the AMD forum have similar boards, like the SE Deluxe. The only thing I was wondering about was how well Fedora Core runs on it and what kind of headaches I should expect. For noting, i'm not going to get the wi-fi version of it as I have no need for it.

Any input would be much appreciated.

I have the AV8, not the Deluxe and have no problems with it. This board does not have the wi-fi support, didn't need it.

Everthing worked on mine, I use an audigy 2ZS for sound though but the ethernet worked out of the box, which is more than I can say about XP SP2. The onboard SATA worked fine, not the Promise setup, I use the VIA.

Thank you very much for the input guys!

I sold the ECS motherboards and processors out of the boxes in my signature this weekend and will be ordering the ASUS motherboards later today.

Anyone want to help build a multi-distro linux HCL?
