I have a similar issue to that or nungus.
I did the whole jigdo thing with the templates provided and found that it created the FC4.... .iso.tmp file without any huge hassles (1855/1856 files).
Code:
D:\jigdo>jigdo-file mi -i FC4-i386-DVD.iso -j FC4-i386-DVD.jigdo -t FC4-i386-DVD
.template D:\FC4\
Found 1855 of the 1856 files required by the template
Copied input files to temporary file `FC4-i386-DVD.iso.tmp' - repeat command and
supply more files to continue
When I remove the .tmp and burn the iso through the [shudder] Nero on a winxp [/shudder] I get an error (in nero) and a non booting DVD (on 3 machines).

When I go to fix it I'm asked about the type of image and Block size....
My concern lies with the ISO in that (with limited exp) I assumed that the ISO contained the boot sector info.
Not sure where to go from here.
Any help is appreciated.
