How to Post New Threads
I think you need a FAQ message on exactly(what buttons to push in what order) how to post a new thread.
Also, if there are any known differences in browsers, publishing this information would be helpfull.

i access this forum using firefox (linux, windows, and mac), safari, and opera regularly. I have also used IE, mozilla, safari, and konquerer at times. there really is no dicernable difference. buttons it looks lightly different in some browsers but not enough to need a how to. all the same buttons are here and all say the same things.
posting a new thread? open the main forum. find the section that best fits your problem and click into it. click "new topic" fill out the fields (title & message), and click submit new thread.

Choose a forum, hit the "New Topic" button at the top of the message list - duh.

Re: How to Post New Threads
Yup, and it's also a 'sticky' in the "Read This First" Forum.
But, from the number of tag-ons to existing threads for unrelated stuff, I guess plenty of people don't bother to read either one. So, in addition, I've added a blurb on the top of the Posting Rules. That's three places, which I hope will catch everyone's attention.
