Okay, installed fine using ext3. Don't know what the deal is, but at least I'm back up. I couldn't find anything on the mailing list either.

I know ReiserFS is not technically supported, but, couldn't they at least make it work?
It's not like its Reiser4, its the version thats in the kernel itself.
Aww, anyone care to summerize this and post it in bugzilla?

Well, I kept insisting in use ReiserFS with Fedora Core 4, and I found a way to do that.
First, I downloaded and installed lilo as bootloader, throw chroot, booting with the rescue fedora CD.
Editing lilo.conf, it's needed to disable SELinux, adding into the append option: selinux=0
The last step is to reinstall lilo, and it will work fine.

Same problem here.
Tried to make a install with 'linux selinux=0 reiserfs'.
It installs fine, jet on booting I get the 'Ran out of inputdata' error message.

Oh well, I selected the German language ... (I googled, and found one guy who staed that this errormsg went away as soon as he switcht languages ferom chinese to englich ... well ... whatever this has to to with that problem ;-)

CDCheck states, that all CD are ok.

Adding to grub the 'selinux=0' doesn't help either (by using the rescue-boot cd option).
Nom I'm trying to install with ext3 (well ... but I like reiser more :-( )

Oh, well ... I'm trying to install Fedora Core 4

[edit]
No my install with ext3 has finished. There it works perfectly. So I assume: Something with reiser on FC4 doesn't work well ...
