Boot up screen...

I was wondering if its possible, and how to, replace the boot screen (the screen that has the tower and monitor on it that has the blue progress bar)...

Thanks

What kind of thing did you want in its place? I prefer an all-text boot so I remove the "rhgb" option from the menus in /boot/grub/grub.conf.

When I was using ubuntu that is how it booted up and it was quick... So would an all text boot up be just as quick in fedora or about the same as it is with the background image?

Personally though, I was wanting to find some type of splash screen or modify the redhat fedora one to look different. Because I use FC1 and on my FC3 system I don't want the same one up there on it.

Thanks...
