installation problem fixed with "white box distribution"

im talking about a brand new installation on a 566 MHz celeron with about 200 MB ram and a built in graphics card. i forget the chipset, its intel and its old.

the graphic installation would come up as colored vertical lines. you could not identify a thing. after the text-view intallation. the same thing would happen after installation was complete.

i have helped my self by trying white box enterprise linux.

this distro seems like the same then fedora core 3 and everything worked fine.

so if anybody has unknown troubles, try http://www.whiteboxlinux.org/
it might just work for you too

...clone of RHEL. Fedora exists to serve RHEL, for better or worse.
