Speakers

I've heard that Linux sometimes has issues with sound. I am purchasing some speakers today off of newegg. They are made by logitech. Will I need any special drivers or will they work out of the block.

This is more a question of whether or not your sound card works. Speakers really have little to do with that, other than providing audible proof.

If your sound card works, then simply plug in your new speakers and enjoy.

All speakers are standard.

They require no drivers, no tweaking [except vol and stuff]

if your soundcard works when you plug in a pair of headphones to your computer,

then you will get the same results plugging speakers into the same socket.
