Install kernel problem on sharp (actina opal) notebook

After successful installation on desktop I tried to install Fedora on my notebook. It's actina
opal (sharp based). Installation kernel hangs on disc detection:

hda: attached ide-disk driver

and dies silently. Does anybody know working solution of the problem? I tried things described in faq
