No Sound while playing games...

Today I downloaded UT2004-Demo, ET and Doom3-Demo for Linux.
Installed them but there is no sound while playing these games. Even Tux-racer doesn't have any sounds.

System Sounds, DVDs and music do work well, it's only while playing games.

I also installed the latest NFORCE_64 drivers and adjusted mixer settings and enabled OSS.

Does anybody have a clue?

oss is very old. Since FC2 alsa is used as default. Try to start the games from the console and to see any errors that are given back.

Thank you for the reply.

I know that OSS is old but there are no alsa sound drivers from NVIDIA

There are no error messages in the cli when starting or exiting the game.
But I found a similar thread here: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=30522
This solved my problem - diabling system Sounds.
Thanks anyway.
