I am seeing this problem on FC4t3. WinXP on the same machine sees and uses the sound card (Turtle Beach) just fine. FC4t3 detects the sound card as Cirrus Logic, but no sound is played via the Test button.

Hey, I have a fix: (I hope...) See my site...
http://s-computers.dyndns.org:8000/h...inuxsound.php?

just replace SbLive with your soundcard...
Make sure you follow it exactly.. It's what got my system's sound working...
