import IE favorites into firefox?

Hi,

I know I can import Netscaper favorites into Firefox but Firefox always tries to do it automatically. I have all my IE "favorites" folder copied to a different directory. How am I able to get firefox to see them? Does Firefox have a directory called "bookmarks" that I would just be able to drop them into (like IE)?

I searched google but it only brings up help for importing them automatically.

bring up IE--click on file--import and export--follow menu's there.

Thank, I wasn't thinking of that as an option since I am using Linux and no longer had IE. I installed it with CrossOver, dropped all my files into the fake Windows Favorites folder, exported from IE and imported into Firefox.
