problem with reading mail tpop3d

Hi Guys,

The password for user works fine for shell access but does not for mailbox access via pop3. Any particular reason for that?

In tpop3d.conf stated to use /etc/passwd as for password authentication. Anything else I am missing?
Thank you all as always for any ideas.
