NIS Server

hi,

I have set up an NIS server for the users to login but i have a problem logging in few users while the rest are able to log in throughout the network. All UID's are >500.

can anyone please help me out with it.............

The users on the NIS Server cannot log in on the network. But few users on NIS Server's passwd file are able to log in. But for other it just says "Incorrect Login".
