When I try to create directories/copy directories/copy files to my psp (with sandisc 512mb MS DUO PRO), I end up with circular directory structures (i.e. if the directory should look like psp/ -> photo/ -> files/ -> pic.jpg, I end up with psp/ -> photo/ -> files/ -> photo/ -> files/ -> etc....).
The only thing I found about this was from a debian mailing list said to reformat the card (the post was about this happening on a key drive), but when I reformat the card and try to retransfer the files I end up with similar circular directories (not necessarily the same dir becoming circular).
I am using the PSP w/ a usb cable to write to the card, do you think switching to a card reader would help?
FYI: the psp can act as a USB Mass Storage device if put into its "USB Mode", which is how I am transferring the files. Also the card is fine, I was able to transfer stuff from my brothers win xp box to the card via the psp.
Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas? Could SElinux be causing a problem? Would a card reader help?
Thank in advance
John
