Dual boot fc3 with Ubuntu Hoary

Hi

I attempted to install FC 3 (Workstation instal) on a hard drive with Ubuntu already on it. Fedora wouldn't let me, saying there probably wasn't enough hard drive space (this is on an 8.4 gig hard drive). So I had to wipe Ubuntu Hoary to be able to install FC 3

Would I be able to use Fedora to create a second partition on my hard drive? I tried to install Ubuntu Hoary on the hard drive after I'd installed Fedora but Ubuntu's installer doesn't seem to let me create another partition

Tough one as you will have to be careful with the HD capacity. I would suggest to entirely empty the HD to do a fresh install. When you install Ubuntu Hoary first, you will need to resize partition for 4GB (128MB for /boot and about 1GB (twice the RAM for your system like 1GB for 512MB RAM, the rest is for "/"). Then you can install FC3 after and choose FC3 grub as default if you like.
