problem running new patched kernel

Hallo, kernelcompilers,
I could compile without errors linux.2.6.11-rc1 with the abi-pathch.
When running this kernel it stopps after creating root filesystem.
Error:
EXT3-fs unable to reed superblock
mount: error 22 mounting ext3
mount: error 2 mounting none

Has anyone an idea, hw I can find the reason of this error?
Thanks for help

Philipp
