Spanning dual hear display

I am trying to get dual head display up and running and I am having a problem. I can get both displays working, but only as a mirror image. Even when I select the spanning mode, it does the same thing. I am running FC1 on on a Dell Insperion 8100 with an ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 video card. I am also using the most current ATI linux drivers. Thanks in advance for any help.

So then you are using the XF86Config-4 config file? The one generated by fglrxconfig? If so then you will have to setup dualhead through the ATI setup/config as the redhat config will edit the XF86Config file AFAIK. This should get you exactly what you need (I love finding those links that answer questions exactly don't you )
