Abit AV8 - Getting the Network Adapter Running -

OK, since I can't get my NIC running under Slackware, I decided to come back to Fedora since I heard it works under Fedora. Problem is though, I haven't read any detailed steps on how to get it working. These are my rig specs:

Abit AV8 K8T800 Pro Chipset
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ @ 3800+
1GB Crucial Ballistix @ DDR436 (2.5-2-2-6)
OCZ PowerStream 520W
Western Digital 74GB Raptor
Lite-On DVD+/-RW
Sony DVD-ROM

So, how do I get the onboard Velocity Gigiabit Adapter running? I don't need 1Gb/s speeds, I just need basic 10/100 speeds. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same motherboard as you, and I have no problems with the onboard LAN. I'm running FC3 x86_64 with kernel version 2.6.10-1.770. I don't remember whether I had to install the Via LAN driver or not when I built the system. Do you know of a quick way to determine which driver is being used? If so, I can check my system and let you know what I'm running.

I'm now almost positive I didn't explicitly install the Via driver myself, but let the installer do the work instead.
