Post Usability at 800x600

Hi,

I have a laptop that is limited by the screen size to 800x600. I run XP on this
system without too much of a problem. The fonts, icons and buttons are
smaller on XP.

When I run Fedora or RHEL using Metacity, the fonts, icons and buttons are
WAY too big to be usable.

Any themes that can change these down to a more managable size? Or a pointer to how to do it myself? Ideally, I'd like to take the Bluecurve theme and size everything down about 60-75%. I'm sure the icons would be relatively simple to change, but how does one change the OK and Cancel buttons for example?

Thanks,

mike

Note: This is not a situation of a driver limitation. The laptop screen is hardwired
at 800x600.

Fonts are easy: menu, Prefenences > Font. Maybe you can change the theme as well.
