Tyan Tiger questions

Does somebody use 244 or smaller CPU with DDR400 RAM with full speed on Tyan Tiger K8W?

Do you recommend this main board to use with FC? I only found some issues about SATA RAID - I inted to use only linux sw raid.

I use the motherboard with a pair of 246 and SATA without any problems. I believe AMD only released DDR400 support on 246 cpus's and greater, therefore you will be limited to DDR333.

According to the following doc all Opterons starting from silicon revision C0 or later do support DDR400:

dear edzxp,
Are you using the SATA dirves for booting too?
If yes could you please tell me how you installed fedora on this board with SATA dirves? I am having trouble with the sil driver.
