Unhappy HP OfficeJet G85 - USB

I've searched the forums already and haven't found this problem addressed. I've recently installed FC3, my first stab at linux in a very long time. In any case, I plugged in my G85 and ran "LANG=C service hpoj setup" the following is the output which looks successful. When I try to print, I don't get any error messages. Just nothing comes out

I also tried kooka to test the scanner but it doesn't see the device at all...

Copy/Paste -------

Probe for USB-connected devices ([y]/n)? y

Probing "/dev/usb/lp0"...
Found "OfficeJet G85"
with serial number "SGA0xxxxxxx".

This device will be set up as "mlc:usb:OfficeJet_G85".
Press <Enter> alone to continue or <Ctrl-D> to skip this device, or
enter a different desired name suffix (without the "mlc:usb:" prefix)
here --->

Setting up as "mlc:usb:OfficeJet_G85".
Enabling ptal-mlcd and ptal-printd.

I do not know your printer but had a similar problem with an psc 2110 at the house of a friend of mine.
Finally I found the hint to use the hpijs driver for printing. This works fine.
The hint further tell's me to use the hpoj driver for scanning, but I did not have the time to test that.
Might be this helps at least to get yout printer part working.

to print to it, install it via cups (System Settings -> Printing). To scan, do 'ptal init setup' to setup the scanner (which it looks like you did), then make sure hpoj is running (System Settings -> Server Settings -> Services).
