Hey folks.
I can get FC2 running without problems on my box, but when I attempt to install FC3 from DVD, I have issues.
I've checked the media, and it seems fine.
I can only use the Linux Text mode to install, as all of the others switch off the monitor at the start of the install, and the machine hangs.
Once installed, FC3 hangs after

, so I've removed
from the boot line.
Now instead of the machine hanging with a row of white squares across the top of the screen, I see white dots all over the screen, and a centimetre deep part at the top that is the same blue colour as the installation screen, with what appears to be 2 option boxes. Once one of these is selected at random (since I can't see any text in the boxes!), I get another blue strip along the top with a box, and I can't go any further.

Help to sort this out would be most appreciated.
