Is it possible to burn .nrg (Nero) images on Linux?

Up to now I haven't found a way to burn .nrg images under Linux. I tried a utility called nrg2iso that was made to convert .nrg files to .iso so that you can more easily burn them with Linux, but that didn't work (tried to burn the created.iso file with k3b and the native FC3 burning tool - both didn't recognize it).

Does anybody know of a way to burn nero images (.nrg files) with Linux FC3?

I found a howto on the kde-apps.org site:

http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=11577

it mounts images as well as allowing to convert to iso...
