Exclamation Spamassassin + Postfix + Dovecot

Hi Shiny Happy People,

I am wondering whether you guyz/gals know a nice way to set these up... my server's running postfix and dovecot well (basic configuration, pop3 smtp) but would want to integrate spamassassin. Tutorials, HOWTO's etc. welcomed.

Thankz you.

I'm back, finally got spamassassin to work from here

Everything is working perfectly, but... (there's always a but) spamassassin gets my CPU load to 100% from time to time and memory usage only increases. Is there some way to tweak spamassassin so as to reduce this load, e.g. putting a limit to the queue.

Please help.

PS Seems to me that no one answers my post, I have been helping myself since I have registered here. Is there someone who can help? If not, asta la vista.

I used amavisd which integrates with Spamassasin as well as ClamAV. This with postfox, dovecot and squirrelmail on a fedora core 2 box. All is working nicely! Check: http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/ I'm not sure where I got the RPM though, probably DAG or Dries RPM repository.

As for spam assassing pushing up cpu usage, I havent experienced that before!

I'm sure there is, I just don't know it. Logic would indicate a configuration setting somewhere. I would recommend giving amavisd a try first and see if it still occurs, if so try googling it.
