How to configure the firewall?

Hi everybody there! When I installed FC3 I also activated the integrated-firewall. Now I need to know how to set this firewall and particularly how to open the ports I need for p2p conection...

I would recommend using firestarter. It's fairly easy to work with, especially if you aren't familiar with manipulating iptables.

Code:
yum install firestarter

I encountred some problems: that's it...

You have enabled checking of packages via GPG keys. This is a good thing.
However, you do not have any GPG public keys installed. You need to download
the keys for packages you wish to install and install them.
You can do that by running the command:
rpm --import public.gpg.key
For more information contact your distribution or package provider.
[root@localhost skorpio]# rpm --import public.gpg.key
error: public.gpg.key: import read failed.
[root@localhost skorpio]#

ehm... what's this?

Ok, no problem... I got the rpm and installed it :-)
A question... is it a firewall different to iptables(in this case I'd like you to explain me how to disable iptables) or just a graphical interface for iptables?

The latter: a graphical frontend to iptables.

so to use firestater all that has to happen is for the ports to be forwarded in your router.. and it will automatically open up the software wholes even through Selinux for everything to get thorugh?
