samba and kernel modules

Dear reader,

Can someone tell me which samba specific kernel modules i need to load (if any) or to compile when i want to use samba to share files through an network with an windows box?

I am asking this as i have compiled my own kernel. I am working with an nx5000 laptop computer (fedora 3 kernel 2.6.10), wireless router and connecting to the internet works fine.
