How do I exclude the ipw2200 drivers in the new kernel?

I know that in order to install the new drivers and firmware for the ipw2200 wireless card, I need to exclude the current ipw2200 drivers. However, I don't know how to do this. Could someone please tell me? Thank you in advance

Never mind, I figured it out myself. Plus, the kernel-module is not up to date with the kernel version 1.766.
