Why is it that printers
Always refuse to delete queues regardless of the OS I have never seen print job deletion actually work gracefully ever. Just what is it about management of print queues that makes it so impossible for someone to actually make a delete print job command actually friggin work?

As I see it there are multiple places to delete the job. It needs to get canceled locally and on the printer, and there are many steps along the way.

Well I wished it actually worked for when a print job hangs, it certaintly lets print jobs pile up though....

Power cycling the printer always stops the jobs, but would probably make for even more of a pileup...

I find that if you open up your web browser to localhost:631 click on Manage Jobs then cancel the job from there works for me.

Anyone here know of a good hardware print server? The one I have is a total POS I think I am going to return it and request a refund. I'm looking for one that supports ipp printing and samba protocol for the windows machines in my house.
