New hardware -not sure what to get

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and I've posted this to the laptop section already. But I'm not sure whether this shouldn't perhaps be in the Hardware section. So here it is:

I'm going to buy a laptop and run Fedora Core 3 on it. What are the pros and cons of an M745 (1.8GHz) processor vs a P3? Is either one more suited for Fedora? I need serious processing power.

Regards,
Aisne

i have a medion notebook with a pentuim M 1.5 ghz Centrino package
Works great you will need to research the wireless adapters depending on which notebook you go with. if it is http://a centrino notebook,e.g ipw22...ecurewireless/ about the wireless driver and install then follow the link at the bottom to make life easy
