Question Kernel mode PPPOE

Hello,

I would like to use the "kernel-mode" functionnality of the rp-pppoe soft.

I've tried what's in their documentation (added a "PLUGINS" parameter to the pppoe conf-file with the .so path, added some aliasses in the modules.conf file... but it don't work !
I receive the following messages :

pppd[13091]: /etc/ppp/plugins/rp-pppoe.so: undefined symbol: generic_establish_ppp
pppd[13091]: Couldn't load plugin /etc/ppp/plugins/rp-pppoe.so
adsl-connect: ADSL connection lost; attempting re-connection.

Without this 'plugins' parameter (in user-mode) it works perfectly.

Does anyone knows what to do ?

Thx

Try this for possible help:
http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedor.../msg04635.html

Also see this page for Iptables modifications:
http://www.hgfelger.de/mss/mss.html

Finally, there's a page that someone had this problem, and explained what fixed it for them that may help. (Note it's in Japanese.)

You can tranlate it to your language at babefish:
