Can't connect with KMUD

I'm trying to connect to a couple of MUDS, but it keeps on giving me an Unknown Host error. I know the MUDs themselves are working, I beleive it is a problem on my end. Perhaps there is some feature preventing my to connect?

Thanks in advance for the help.

It seems that I actually can't connect to outside IP addresses. I tried connecting to my Librarys book resource and It wouldn't connect. Not quite sure what to do.

So you can't access the web? Sounds like an internet connection issue. How do you connect?
