No display. Video problems during install.

When installing, I tried to use the GUI format but could not because my monitor was blank when anaconda loaded the GUI. I WAS able to install via the text format and didn't have any problems.

Now, upon full boot-up I have a blank screen again after everything is initialized. I'm guessing this is a video driver issue? Anyone know if this is common?

My computer is a Dell GX110 Pentium3 733Mhz. I figured it was old enough and standard enough to not have this issue but maybe I was wrong?

Its the on-board card. The "Integrated Intel 810e" chipset. I also saw this flash across the screen on bootup of Fedora Core.

If you are in text mode than become root and type:
Code:
system-config-display
and reconfigure your hardware for the video card. When done type:
Code:
startx

How do I get to text mode at this point? I've tried commands after hitting enter during boot-up. That thing is useless. I've tried the "Interactive" boot method and that doesn't provide anything either.

If I could get to a command prompt I could do these things, but I never see an option to get there.

They're is a problem with the software for this chipset on the install CD

This might take several trials
1
When you're system boots into the grub menu
edit the vmlinuz etc line and remove rhgb
continue to boot

2
if this doesn't work do the same as above and add 3
log in as user and change su -
enter
yum update xorg
if update is successfull
exit as root and startx

for more info https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla....cgi?id=132267

last if above doesn't work
try this
In /etc/X11/xorg.conf, make sure your video section includes
Options "noaccel"
