Question New Forum Suggestion: Mysql Development

I'd like to suggest the following forum under Category "Fedora Development" (beneath the "Programming" Forum):

Mysql
Get help with Mysql installation, tuning and writing of queries

Let me know what ya'll think, feel free to suggest a different title / subtitle.

Is there anybody running Oracle or any other databases under fedora?

I think thats too specific. I never see much about that sort of thing round the forum, what i think would be better would either be a "database" forum or a forum regarding "web development".

I open to either, although I doubt demand would be that great.

I'm with Ug - we don't really get that much "development" questions anyway. And I'm not a believer in "build it and they will come." There's already plenty of other places for that stuff - let's concentrate on what we're here for - Fedora.

Besides, not everyone's besotted with MySQL. If you targetted that specific RDBMS, you'll get requests to provide space, etc. for other systems - even ones that may or may not be specific to Linux, such as HSQLDB.

A database is a server, and we do have a server section.

Now, a Fedora-specific MySQL howto, I can see the use of that.
