The closing down list

When Fc's closing theres a list of processing closing displayed on screen.
Q, how can i add messages to this list?
I ask because i want to put the folling messages -
Removing elvis and Elvis has left the building.

Like all the services shutting down and saying OK?

You'll have to write a bash script and set it up with the chkconfig program. See the scripts in /etc/rc.d/init.d for examples.
