Unhappy Error: No swap space

Hi,

when i am trying to install fedora after giving options for partitions it is showing error that swap space is not specified, there is some space showing free memory, but still it is showing same problem i ignored that error and i tried install it but between installation it is asking for media check and starting from first again.. what should i do.....

hoping for a good answer clear description....

If you are manually allocating the partitions (as opposed to letting the installer automatically partition), you must allocate swap space. If the space is free, it's not allocated to a partition. There is a "swap" selection in the drop-down box for the partition type.
