Remote control via GSM for FC 2

It's ambitious I know, but I was wondering how to configure my newish FC 2 installation in order to text/sms limited instructions and controls to it for file retrieval purposes while I'm on the road. I plan to have a GSM phone connected via USB,or Blue tooth if possible. Thanks all, I'm really enjoying Linux, wonder why it took me so long to jump ship.
