Question mplayer for streaming radio

Thanks to people here, I am now able to run commercial free radio with mplayer. Since there is no DJ on internet radio, the only way to know what song is playing is by visiting their website or by running an app like kaffeine which prints the song playing at the top of your screen.

Is there any way with mplayer to print the song playing like kaffeine does?
