I've been running FC3 on my dell d600 for quite a while now
I've had perpetual problems using my NIC (broadcom 5700 i think)
but i usually use a dell truemobile 1150 pcmcia (wireless) for internet (uses orinoco driver)
(also came with truemobile 1300 internal which doesn't have open driver)
however, earlier today my wireless stopped working
dmesg =
divert: allocating divert_blk for eth0
eth0: failed to initialize firmware (err=-19)
divert: freeing divert_blk for eth0
orinoco_cs: register_netdev() failed
orinoco_lock() called with hw_unavailable (dev=1cda0740)
i can't get it working. to the extent, that i reinstalled FC3 from disk today.
and it still doesn't work (same dmesg)
i'm perplexed why i'm getting the same thing after a clean install - no upgrades yet b/c i no longer can access internet
any help/ideas would greatly be appreciated!!!
