wireless router?

This is out of curiousity more than anything else, and I'm a noob if you can't already tell from the post... I know that you can use a linux computer as a router, and I was curious if it was possible to turn a computer with a wireless networking card into a wireless router for an internet connection.
thanks

The only difference (software and locigally speaking) between wireless and ethernet is the medium that they use to communicate.
